CBD Headline News: International Amateur Free Agents Revealed

The league has hosted its yearly international showcase featuring top prospects from all different countries. It's the most important time of the year for prospects around the globe, landing the game's best international amateurs onto the radar of scouts across the league.

Osaka Star Captures FL Bat Crown

The numbers speak for themselves: a .348 batting average in 158 games, 235 hits, 47 doubles, 5 triples, 26 home runs, 88 RBIs, 125 runs scored and 42 walks.
Those numbers added up to a batting title for Sam Clark of the Osaka Takoyaki.
The 28-year-old left fielder received the 2051 Federation League batting trophy today. At the award ceremony, Clark was definitely proud of his achievement.
"I always knew that I had the talent to win a batting title," Clark commented to reporters, "but I've had trouble at times with consistency. Everything came together this season. I hope this is not the last time. It will be a challenge, but I hope to win it again."

2051 AL Batting Crown Goes to Hernandez

The top hitter in the Alliance League this season was Oscar Hernandez of the Portland Beavers. Nobody was better with the bat.
Hernandez compiled a .324 batting average (204-for-630) to surpass everybody for the 2051 title.
In addition, his stats included 54 doubles, 1 triple and 21 home runs. This year's bat champion played in 157 games, scored 69 runs and drove in 83.
