Buffalo Gets 6-4 Win
The Buffalo Buffalo knocked off the Brooklyn Knights, 6-4, in Alliance League action at Brooklyn Coliseum. Buffalo pitcher and East Brunswick, New Jersey, native Danny Staley had an outstanding performance. Staley yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 6-6. The save was credited to Dan Bowen, his 8th.

Buffalo used a clutch at-bat from Esteban Vasquez to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Buffalo ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
