CAP Headline News: The Offseason Begins
Wednesday, October 5th , 2050
The 2050 postseason is over and the baseball landscape is silent. But beneath this veneer of serenity, a tension is building. CBD Single A+ clubs are preparing for a long offseason of trades, speculation, contract negotiations and preparations for next year. While it won't be baseball, exactly, onlookers will grudgingly take it as a substitute until teams head into preseason camps.

You may now vote for the league award winners, the option is available in the league menu.
Moscow Defeats Schenectady
Monday, October 3rd , 2050
This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Moscow Mules were shedding tears of joy and the Schenectady Grasshoppers those of sorrow.

The Mules topped the Grasshoppers today 7-5 at Las vegas Ballpark and locked up their 5th CBD Single A+ Round 3 championship, winning the series 4-1.

"To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Schenectady manager Nate Hollerman.

The Mules finished the regular season in the Division 3 with a 86-54 record, ending up in second place in the division standings.
