CAP News: Development Facilities Open

With the season over and the final out recorded, teams are already looking towards the next year. Coaches, trainers, and staff are up the next day at the crack of dawn, moving pitching mounds into place, setting up equipment, loosening their arms, and prepping plans for the players they will be working with. With the doors of their development complexes open, organizations can now send players to their facility for personalized offseason work, in order to improve specific aspects of their game.

CAP Headline News: The Offseason Begins

The 2050 postseason is over and the baseball landscape is silent. But beneath this veneer of serenity, a tension is building. CBD Single A+ clubs are preparing for a long offseason of trades, speculation, contract negotiations and preparations for next year. While it won't be baseball, exactly, onlookers will grudgingly take it as a substitute until teams head into preseason camps.

Moscow Defeats Schenectady

This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Moscow Mules were shedding tears of joy and the Schenectady Grasshoppers those of sorrow.
The Mules topped the Grasshoppers today 7-5 at Las vegas Ballpark and locked up their 5th CBD Single A+ Round 3 championship, winning the series 4-1.
"To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Schenectady manager Nate Hollerman.
The Mules finished the regular season in the Division 3 with a 86-54 record, ending up in second place in the division standings.
