Playoffs? No Chance for Amarillo
Monday, July 24th, 2028
The Amarillo Armadillos are bad -- very bad. And as typically happens during very bad seasons, the Armadillos were officially, mathematically, eliminated from postseason contention today.
Amarillo last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 6 times in their 10-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Armadillos have missed the playoffs 6 times.
