A 6-RBI performance from center fielder Jacob Jeffries, who finished 5th in the FL in stolen bases with 30 in 2046, led the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs to a win over the Portland Beavers, 20-2. The Blueberry Bulldogs, now 3-1, have hit the ground running this season.

With Sudbury leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Jeffries hit a fastball from Chris Duffy for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 4-0.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Coach John said.
