Big Day with Bat: Fischer 6-for-7 Wednesday, June 7th , 2051 The Reno Rattlers couldn't stop Ed Fischer, but they stopped the Kansas City Hepcats, 9-8. Fischer went 6-for-7 in the game at Hepcats Ballpark, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Ed -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Kansas City manager Paul Strzelczyk. "The Rattlers were on their game today." Ed Fischer hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, grounded out in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
