Red-Hot Torrero Scorches Kings Saturday, August 29th , 2048 All game long, Grosse Pointe's Leo Torrero was rattling the walls at Grosse Pointe Grounds and banging out base hits against the Kalamazoo Kings. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Better Mades had a win, 11-3. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 19-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Leo Torrero singled in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jeremy Jimenez in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
