Jacksonville Out of Playoff Race

It came down to the wire, but in the end, a playoff bid escaped the Jacksonville Alligators. The club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today.
This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2046. In total, the Alligators have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 30-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Alligators have only made the playoffs once.

Galveston Headed to the Postseason

It came down to the wire for the Galveston Gumdrops, but they have clinched a spot in the CBD Rookie League postseason.
"We wanted the Division 3 division, but once that wasn't possible, it was tunnel vision to try to get the wild card," said center fielder Bill Ludwig. "We feel we've got as good a chance as any other team now that we're in the playoffs."
The team currently sits with a 59-61 record and will be vying for their 4th Round 3 championship.

No Late-Season Magic Coming: Oklahoma City Out of Playoffs

The playoff chase by the Oklahoma City Hooks has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today.
"We came up short," manager Chris Ouverson said.
The Hooks have missed the playoffs 9 times in their 17 years as a CBD Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2046. In the last 10 seasons, the Hooks have missed the playoffs 7 times.
