The Player of the Week has been chosen by the CBD Rookie League. The award went to Brian Starr, third baseman of the Long Beach Paradise.
In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .619 average to win the honor. Starr went 13-for-21 for the week, totaled 2 home runs and 17 RBIs and scored 9 times.
