CR Star of the Week Chosen

It was a fantastic week for Long Island third baseman Ryan Giordani and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the CBD Rookie League Player of the Week Award.
Last week Giordani hammered the ball at a torrid .619 pace, going 13-for-21 with 1 home run, 2 RBIs and 1 run scored.
To date this year, Giordani is batting .321 with 12 home runs.
