Logan Colcott really sizzled at the plate in his team's 20-2 win over the Cork Claws. The Sheboygan catcher blistered Cork for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.

"Colcott was too tough to get out today," the Claws skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Logan Colcott hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

Currently Colcott is batting .344 with 31 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 25 runs and scored 16 times.

Williams Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games

With 2 hits at Hooks Ballpark, Matt Williams added another game to his hitting streak -- the Colorado Springs shortstop has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Generals, as they fell, 10-6, to the Oklahoma City Hooks.

"Frankly, I don't care about hits," Oklahoma City manager Jason Bazik said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win."
Matt Williams grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Dan Mobley in the 8th.

Williams on the season is hitting .461 with 7 home runs. His stats include 47 RBIs and 44 runs scored.
