Allison, on Top of His Game, Beats Euharlee, 14-0 Sunday, July 25th , 2049 The Euharlee Hammerheads were almost helpless in their 14-0 loss to the Buffalo Red Sox and hurler Chris Allison. Allison kept the Hammerheads confused all game, spinning a 1-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Allison," Euharlee manager Eric Jones said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old right-hander had 4 walks and 3 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Allison said.
