Devlin Batters Galveston for 5 Hits Friday, June 25th , 2049 Ben Devlin of the Euharlee Hammerheads went on a hitting spree against the Galveston Gumdrops pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Gumdrops put a damper on his day and prevailed, 6-3, over the Hammerheads. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Ben Devlin hit a two-run home run off Jose Araujo in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
