Ben Devlin of the Euharlee Hammerheads went on a hitting spree against the Galveston Gumdrops pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Gumdrops put a damper on his day and prevailed, 6-3, over the Hammerheads.

"It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later.
