Kings Burke Smacks 5 Hits Thursday, August 6th , 2048 Kalamazoo center fielder Rob Burke had a big day at Lansing Ballpark against the Buffalo Red Sox. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led to the 20-4 Kings triumph over Buffalo. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Burke said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Rob Burke singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
