Alamo Goes 5-for-7 Against Jacksonville Saturday, May 7th , 2050 Tony Alamo really did a number on the Jacksonville Alligators -- and the Alligators did one right back on Alamo's team, the Galveston Gumdrops, taking the Gumdrops Grounds contest, 6-4. Alamo delivered a huge 5-for-7 performance for Galveston, but did not deliver the victory. "I felt real good in the batter's box," the 20-year-old center fielder said after putting up a game for the ages. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."
