Alamo Goes 5-for-7 Against Jacksonville
Tony Alamo really did a number on the Jacksonville Alligators -- and the Alligators did one right back on Alamo's team, the Galveston Gumdrops, taking the Gumdrops Grounds contest, 6-4.

Alamo delivered a huge 5-for-7 performance for Galveston, but did not deliver the victory.

"I felt real good in the batter's box," the 20-year-old center fielder said after putting up a game for the ages. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."

Tony Alamo grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th, hit an RBI single in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
