Hit Streak for Castillo Reaches 20 Monday, September 5th , 2050 The hitting streak for Tucson first baseman Bob Castillo now stands at 20 games, but the Ocelot dropped today's contest 5-4 to the Hartford Defenders. Castillo went 1-for-5 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Bob Castillo doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 10th. Hitting .317 to date, Castillo has 18 home runs and 47 RBIs. He has played in 122 games. |
