Cooper Shows Off, Hits for Cycle

Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Rockets Ballpark. Rowan Cooper of the Santa Clara Vanguard accomplished the feat against Tucson Ocelot.
Cooper went 5-for-6 with 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 15-4 Santa Clara victory.
"That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Cooper said after the game.
Cooper also scored 3 runs and had 4 runs batted in in a day to remember for both Cooper and the crowd at Rockets Ballpark.
Rowan Cooper hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Brent McCormick in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
In the 2050 season Cooper is hitting .350 with 23 home runs.
