Kitch Stops Tucson Friday, July 30th , 2049 Baltimore Jaspers pitcher Ben Kitch really got it done at Ocelot Ballpark in a 2-0 shutout victory over the Tucson Ocelot, shutting them down on 5 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Kitch said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 24-year-old issued 1 walk and had 4 strikeouts in the Jaspers win. Kitch has posted a 14-4 record for the year with a 2.84 ERA.
