Galway Announces Casale Will Retire Sunday, June 11th , 2051 Eric Casale announced his retirement today according to sources inside the Galway Gales organization. Casale, who is 42 years old, gave reporters some of his plans for the near future. "I'm going to do a lot of hunting and fishing," he said. "I've always been focused on getting ready for the next season, so maybe now I can slow down and enjoy time away from it all." Casale went back and forth with the press in a friendly manner during his press conference. "I'm sure there's a small-mouth bass out there with my name on it," he said. Casale has posted 162 victories and 118 defeats in his career with a 3.87 ERA. He also has fanned 2599 batters in 2534 innings and given up 2429 hits. |
