Wednesday, April 28th , 2049
Paul Williams did a number on the Ocelot in the 15-4 Omaha victory -- and the number was 5. The Steaks center fielder banged out 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Ocelot Ballpark to lead his club past the Tucson Ocelot.
"I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done."
Paul Williams singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Yuji Yamauchi in the 9th.
So far this season, Williams has recorded a .278 batting average with 10 hits, 1 home run, 6 RBIs, 7 runs scored and a .350 OBP.
