Steaks Win Round 1 Saturday, September 14th , 2052 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Omaha Steaks have eliminated the Hillsboro Hops and are Round 1 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Round 2, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said second baseman Ultan Fay, who was named series MVP. Omaha won the final game by a score of 7-0, wrapping it up at Memorial Stadium. Fay's big series saw him hit .448 with a .484 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Omaha Steaks will play against the Hartford Defenders in the next round. Hartford won their series against the Tucson Ocelot 4 games to 1.
