Freeland Tames Hyenas 4-3, 16 Ks Friday, July 5th , 2052 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Josh Freeland, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs topped the East Haddam Hyenas by a score of 4-3 at Ballpark of East Haddam. The 28-year-old Freeland brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 6 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Hyenas manager Joe Jankowski said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
