Brooklyn Moves on to League Championship Sunday, October 9th , 2050 The Brooklyn Knights are riding high after winning the Divisional Series and eliminating the Portland Beavers by a series score of 3-1. The final blow came tonight at Brooklyn Coliseum, when Brooklyn secured its spot in the League Championship with a 4-1 victory. "It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said shortstop Pedro Almanza, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance." Almanza certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Brooklyn Knights will play against the Yellowstone Super Volcano in the next round. Yellowstone won their series against the Detroit Pizzas 3 games to 0. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
