Dragon Warriors Clip Archies, 2-1, in WS Contest
|
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the St. Louis Archies, 2-1, in Game 2 of the World Series. Doing his part was starter Tony Ramos, who threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The win moves Hanoi into a 1-1 tie with St. Louis in the series.
Danny Laines had a direct impact on the outcome. Laines contributed a run-scoring strikeout in the top of the sixth inning to put Hanoi up, 2-1.
"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Hanoi manager GM Schnee said.
The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 25th , 2049 at The Nest in Johnson City.
