Martinez Socks It to Beavers, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, August 30th , 2050 Los Angeles Kings first baseman Dave Martinez went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Portland Beavers for 5 hits to help Los Angeles win, 18-0, over Portland at Sportsman's Park. Dave Martinez hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run double in the 4th and doubled in the 6th.
