Jimenez, Wayfinders March to 10-4 Victory

The Waikiki Wayfinders got a rain-soaked win over the St. Louis Archies.
The Waikiki Wayfinders beat the St. Louis Archies, 10-4, at Ballpark of Honolulu. Waikiki first baseman Carlos Jimenez had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Richard Arocha, who is tied for 9th in the FL in complete games with 1, was the winner. He's now 6-14. The loser was Danny Dudley.
Second Baseman Kevin Byrge made an impact for Waikiki, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Danny Dudley in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Byrge was 1-4 with a double.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Jimenez.
By defeating St. Louis, the last-place Wayfinders improved to 46-85.
