Lobato Batters Brooklyn for 5 Hits Saturday, June 8th , 2052 After a 5-hit effort to lead Hanoi's 9-2 victory over the Brooklyn Knights, center fielder Lorenzo Lobato told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the The Confederation of Baseball Dunces-level is really something special." The 25-year-old player earned his accolades at The Nest with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Knights. "His swing is getting there," said Dragon Warriors skipper GM Patman, who spoke glowingly of Lobato after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Lorenzo did that to perfection." Lorenzo Lobato singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Eric White in the 8th.
