Star of the Week Selected in AL Monday, August 29th , 2050 24-year-old Ryan Chiasson sent shock waves through The Confederation of Baseball Dunces last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Alliance League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Chiasson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .385 average, 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs and 2 runs batted in. Where the Yellowstone Super Volcano third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Chiasson certainly made his mark last week. Thus far this year, Chiasson has hit .246 with 19 home runs and 52 RBIs. |
