Desert Storm Clinch Wild Card Sunday, September 27th , 2048 It's time to start thinking about the playoffs for the Arizona Desert Storm. The Federation League Knuckleheads Division club today secured a wild card berth, which left fielder Ben Potgeter said is something the club is "extremely proud of," even though they had hoped to win the division. With a record of 85-69, the Desert Storm won't be going into the playoffs as favorites, but Potgeter said he believes the Desert Storm have a good chance to bring home the franchise's 2nd World Series. |
