Farrell Goes on Rampage Against Super Volcano
Monday, July 26th , 2049
Tyler Farrell put on a hitting clinic as the Lansing Red Storm dumped the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 9-5, at Ballpark of Atlanta.
The Lansing center fielder made Yellowstone defenders earn their pay, lashing Yellowstone pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Farrell said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Tyler Farrell singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
This year, Farrell is batting .276 with 14 home runs. He has scored 45 runs and driven in 58.
