Aztecs Top Red Storm in Extras, 5-3
|
The San Antonio Aztecs handed the Lansing Red Storm a loss at Ballpark of Atlanta. The final score was 5-3. Brian Brown was one of the major contributors for San Antonio. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. The win gives the Aztecs a record of 32-67.
Brown had a game-changing home run in the top of the 14th. On a full count fastball from Bobby Nardone, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Aztecs a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Brown.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Brown told the San Antonio Daily.
