Clark Raps Waikiki for 5 Hits Tuesday, June 21st , 2050 Sam Clark exploded for a barrage of base hits at Ballpark of Honolulu. The Osaka left fielder had a field day in his team's 8-2 triumph over the Waikiki Wayfinders, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Clark must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Sam Clark singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
