Edmondson Shackles Havana Monday, April 22nd , 2052 The Havana Sugar Kings were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the Detroit Pizzas and hurler Nate Edmondson. Edmondson kept the Sugar Kings confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Edmondson," Havana manager The Baron said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 27-year-old right-hander had no walks and 4 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Edmondson said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." Currently Edmondson has a record of 3-2 with 32 strikeouts and 4 walks in 32 innings and a 2.25 ERA.
