Steeb Leads Brooklyn to 4-0 Win Over Havana Sunday, September 1st , 2047
The Havana Sugar Kings met their match today in Brooklyn hurler Jim Steeb. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," Havana skipper The Baron said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat."
In the 4-0 victory, Steeb whiffed 8 and gave up 2 walks.
