Pittman Spins No-Hitter Against East Haddam Saturday, June 29th , 2047 In a dominant outing, Andy Pittman of the Dublin Porters totally silenced the bats of the East Haddam Hyenas, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 7-0 victory, Pittman faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 12 strikeouts and no walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Dublin manager Jim DG said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Joe Jankowski had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The Porters had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Pittman pitched a heck of a ballgame." To date, Pittman has a 5-7 mark in 15 starts with a 5.30 ERA. He has given up 88 hits in 90 innings, struck out 107 and issued 34 walks.
