Widel Socks It to Kings, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, June 2nd , 2048 Jason Widel really sizzled at the plate in his team's 9-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings. The St. Louis left fielder blistered Los Angeles for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Widel was too tough to get out today," the Kings skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
