Staley Shuts Out San Antonio, 6-0

In a seemingly effortless performance, Danny Staley of the Buffalo Buffalo shot down the San Antonio Aztecs, 6-0, on 7 hits.
"Danny was just locating so well and using his pitches," Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Staley recorded 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," San Antonio manager Jim Lumo said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
To date this season, Staley sports a 2-3 mark with a 4.32 ERA in 5 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .264 batting average and has 32 strikeouts in 33.1 innings.
