Cossacks Alcala Sizzles with Cycle Sunday, May 3rd , 2048 The Kyiv Cossacks topped the East Haddam Hyenas by a score of 17-6 at Ballpark of East Haddam, but all the talk was centered on right fielder Kyle Alcala. The Kyiv star hit for the cycle in a show-stealing performance, powering his club to the win. Alcala went 5-for-6, collecting 1 single, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run to go along with 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. "I felt comfortable at the plate in a way I haven't felt all season," Alcala said after the game. "It was like they were throwing beach balls at me - the ball seemed that big. And it just floated in." Kyle Alcala hit a solo-shot off Mark Foglesong in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.
