Brooklyn Dealt 7-3 Defeat
|
Buffalo third baseman Emilio Nin had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Brooklyn Knights, 7-3. John Hoover got the win, improving to 1-2. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. The win has Buffalo at 12-14.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Nin hit a grand slam home run off Ray Totino. It propelled the Buffalo into the lead, 4-0.
"We're trying to go out there and win games," Nin told the Buffalo Today, "and we played pretty well tonight."
