Knights Mow Down Buffalo, 9-3
|
The Brooklyn Knights picked up a win at Brooklyn Coliseum, taking down the Buffalo Buffalo, 9-3. Starting pitcher Greg McDowell was a big reason why. McDowell picked up the win for Brooklyn, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. The win gives the Knights a record of 15-11.
Early in the game, catcher Will Limeburner had a run-scoring double for Brooklyn. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Knights on top, 2-1.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Limeburner told the Brooklyn Daily.
