Behind a solid performance from shortstop Jonathan Campos, the Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Brooklyn Knights, 3-2. Campos went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Dragon Warriors. Aaron Wierzba, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-0. Hanoi goes to 2-0.
Campos had a key at-bat for Hanoi in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Hanoi an early 3-0 lead.
"That's baseball," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
