Desert Storm Absorb 5-4 Loss at The Greenhouse
|
The Buffalo Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, topping the Arizona Desert Storm, 5-4. On the mound for Buffalo was right-hander Tim Ocampo. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win belonged to Danny Rutledge in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Kevin Spencer took the loss for Arizona. Daniel Bojorquez picked up the save for Buffalo, his 13th of the year.
Matt Nagy, who finished 4th in the AL in home runs with 36 in 2045, took Arizona hurler Kevin Spencer deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Buffalo on top, 5-4. In all, Nagy had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"Glad to see the fans get into it," said Nagy.
Arizona has now lost 4 consecutive games.
