East Haddam Absorbs 6-3 Loss to Dublin
|
The Dublin Porters picked up a win at Porters Ballpark, downing the East Haddam Hyenas, 6-3. On the mound for Dublin was left-hander Jason Hendsbee, who played a pivotal role in the win. Chris Gills was credited with the save for Dublin, his 8th of the season. The Porters have an impressive 44-25 record.
In the bottom of the third, Dublin left fielder Ciro Montorsi had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Montorsi stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-1, Dublin. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"Jason was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Dublin manager Jim DG.
