Matt Tremblay was at the head of a Blubs Bay hit parade at Churrasco Grounds. The right fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Flappy Bois to a nice 17-4 victory over the Sao Paolo Churrasco.
"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Tremblay told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."
Churrasco skipper Justin McCollum said later that the club gave up "too much plate."
"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."
Matt Tremblay walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dusty Eastman in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Oscar Cruz in the 9th.
For the season, Tremblay has hit .266 with 12 home runs and 49 RBIs. He has played in 114 games and scored 48 times.
