The Brooklyn Knights and Portland Beavers played an entertaining game for Beavers Park patrons.

The Brooklyn Knights defeated the Portland Beavers, 5-4, at Beavers Park. Leading the charge for Brooklyn was left fielder John Baccari. He hit 2 home runs. The 'W' lifts Brooklyn's record to 29-35.

The Knights got a big at-bat from designated hitter Josh Deere. For the game, Deere was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Brooklyn a 2-0 lead.
