The Arizona Desert Storm earned a win at Bulldogs Ballpark, knocking off the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 6-2. On the bump for Arizona was left-hander Ronaldo Sardinha. He had a starring role in the triumph. Arizona is now 29-28. Sudbury is 26-31.

Arizona used the bat of Bill Horning to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Desert Storm ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a dandy.

"Ronaldo was able to execute his pitches," said Arizona manager GM Fetty. "Simple as that."
