A 3-RBI performance from Ben Potgeter, who is tied for 4th in the FL in runs scored with 101, helped the Arizona Desert Storm beat the Lansing Red Storm, 5-3. Terry Donohue picked up his 38th save of the season. Arizona now sits at 86-61, while Lansing falls to 53-94.

Potgeter had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 curveball from Sergio Bahena, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Desert Storm a 4-3 lead. It was the 47th home run of the year for Potgeter.

Potgeter said afterward that the win gets the team one step closer to its goal.
