Sudbury and Buffalo duked it out and the Blueberry Bulldogs came out victorious.

The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs picked up a win at Bulldogs Ballpark, knocking off the Buffalo Buffalo, 6-3. On the mound for Sudbury was right-hander Josh Freeland. He played a key role in the triumph. Freeland, now 4-10, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 9, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs.

Hugo Cabrera had a big 2-run home run for the Blueberry Bulldogs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Sudbury leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from Danny Staley, who is tied for 9th in the AL in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 21st home run of the season, which put the Blueberry Bulldogs on top, 4-0.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Cabrera.
