4-3 Loss to Scorpions Extends East Haddam Losing Streak
|
Ben Potgeter was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the East Haddam Hyenas. The right fielder was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Arizona Scorpions. Kyle Sanchez notched his 1st save in 2 chances. The loss makes East Haddam 61-67.
Potgeter had a timely hit for Arizona in the bottom of the seventh. With Arizona trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Arizona.
