Hunt Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
|
Some days you can't win for losing. Just ask Rory Hunt -- he was the King of Swing against the Volcanoes, but his Dolphins were beaten, 6-4, anyway.
The Da Nang left fielder had 5 chances against Salem-Keizer and delivered 5 hits in a sensational game.
"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt great to be hitting like that, but a downer when you look at the scoreboard. 5-for-5 does wonders for your confidence, but it's a shame we couldn't win, too."
Rory Hunt doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Danny Knapp in the 8th.
