The Dublin Porters powered past the Waikiki Wayfinders, 9-4, at Porters Ballpark. Esteban Gonzalez provided some of the pop. Shameless was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Casey Burgess picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Richard Arocha, who is tied for 7th in the FL in innings pitched with 41.1, was tagged with the loss. The Wayfinders drop to 10-22, as their fitful start to the 2052 campaign continues.
Kasey Stephens, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2049, came through for Dublin with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. The center fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.
"We maximized our offense today," said Dublin skipper Hannah Porter. "That makes everyone's life easier."
