Garcia Hits 2 home runs in Scorpions Win
|
Good production from left fielder Bobby Garcia helped the Arizona Scorpions topple the Osaka Takoyaki, 7-1. Garcia belted 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice for the Scorpions. Ron Cook picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 5-10. The Scorpions go to 28-60 with the win.
Early in the game, Garcia had a grand slam home run for Arizona. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Scorpions on top, 4-0.
"Bobby raked," said Arizona manager GM PerryPHX.
